Last Words at Tapps Art Center, 1644 Main Street in Columbia, SC. Opening Reception during the monthly "First Thursday" art crawl, Thurs. July 3 from 6 - 10 PM. Solo exhibition featuring over 40 Grave Rubbing Art Quilts, six altered and artist books, the "Angels in Mourning" Series, the "Dearly Departed" series, a selection of epitaph banners, and several other original pieces of artwork focusing on remembrance, final words, and the way we want to mark our time on earth. Exhibition is free. Tues. - Sat. 10 - 6 PM through Sat. Aug. 2.
